My Journey: From Fabric to Fashion
I didn’t start as a fashion designer.
I started with the fabric — literally.
As a fabric manufacturer, I spent years working with yarns, textures, and weaves, understanding what makes a fabric not just beautiful, but functional, sustainable, and wearable. I worked closely with mills, looms, and suppliers, often helping clients choose the right base for their garments. But over time, I realized something: I wasn’t just creating fabric. I was laying the foundation for a story that someone else would complete.
And then one day, I asked myself — why not complete that story myself?
That question sparked the beginning of my garment brand.
I already knew what made a fabric drape well, what colors held print best, and what blends felt luxurious on the skin. But now, I wanted to take it a step further — designing silhouettes that brought out the beauty of the fabric itself. I didn’t have to guess which fabric would suit a kurti, co-ord set, or dupatta — I already knew because I had made it.
I started small — designing for women who loved subtle details, soft textures, and effortless Indian wear. Each piece was a blend of textile knowledge and thoughtful design. Slowly, my manufacturing unit turned into a full-circle ecosystem — from yarn to finished garment — and that gave me full creative control.
Today, my brand stands on both strength and softness: the strength of understanding fabric from the core, and the softness of creating garments that speak to real people, real bodies, and real stories.
This isn’t just fashion.
This is fabric-made fashion — from the loom to the look.
